The Master 3 also has a feature where it autodetects some of the more popular productivity programs and switches up what the side buttons do - for example, in a web browser the side buttons would be forwards/back, whereas in a word processor they might be undo/redo. The scroll wheel now uses magnets for the tensioning system, and the faster you scroll the more they demagnetize, loosening the Infinite Scroll wheel and pretty much negating the need for a dedicated button toggle (although it's still there). Master 2S vs Master 3: The Master 3 retains the side scroll wheel, but switched the side button design back to a more traditional forwards/back layout.
